Mother-and-son duo Cris Briger and Charles Peed have added an interior design component to their business. Capturing the already-vibrant taste and extraordinary style that exudes within the walls of their gallery, the pair are now offering clients the possibility of a sumptuous blend of centuries-old antiques, fabrics and artwork the two have so successfully established at the store.

“Our intention is to work with the clients and to incorporate a finished product that reflects why they came to us in the first place,” says Briger. “We understand the ‘mix’ of styles, patterns and history, and we are able to carry that forward into our design business.” Briger is no stranger to the design world, having run one of the best businesses with her late husband, Paul Briger. For over 20 years, the duo ran an accessory and furniture business called Briger Design. The culmination of several of their design projects was published by Rizzoli in Briger+Briger: Comfortable and Joyous Homes and they were also featured on the famous seventh-floor home department at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.

Now following a recent move to Palm Beach and the opening of their West Palm Beach store, mother and son are excited to relaunch their interior design business. This time, the pair have teamed up with interior designer Susan Beimler from Washington, D.C., and Vero Beach, Fla., who also has an exceptional design background. “We are so excited to add Susan to our team,” adds Peed. “She has incredible design experience.” At the forefront of this Casa Gusto design team is a solid mix of history, beauty and a deep knowledge of luxury and comfort. If you are looking for the ultimate in sophistication, stop by the Georgia Avenue gallery. It is a feast for any design devotee. 6316 Georgia Ave., West Palm Beach
