ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Catharine Warren was educated at Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied painting, print-making, and art history. After graduation, she moved to Rome to paint and etch for a year, and from there to Paris to study the various techniques of etching at the Academie Goetz. Once back in New York, she started painting the Torso and landscape-inspired abstract works that has made her name for the past 50 years.
